Like an Old Essay (Of the Odyssey)

Prologue:
The journey is more important than the destination. So here I start walking to set a journey for you to remember.

Walking down the road I found my mind meandering to the past,
So I kept aside the old set of memories for a while,
Looked through the eyes of an old wise man,
And got some clues as to where my footsteps were leading me.

I came across a beauty like a rainbow hanging from the sky,
I hooked myself to the hands of a clock for the time to stop,
Should I stay or move ahead?
I leaned towards a stony wall gathered with moss,
It gave me a hint of an unpredictable weather,
I looked up towards the sky for the weatherman’s signal,
And found a green sign on the trail leading somewhere.

Like an old essay, I see my life flipping through a notebook,
Like an old essay, I see my life searching for the lost pages,
Like an old essay, I try to find the missing notes,
And see this old essay giving one more life.

I’m reaching for the last page to end this story,
For you to read about my history,
I hope this memoir will lead you to me,
If you get lost and confused you can find the trail,
And feel the weathered moss where I’d once been.

Like an old essay, I see the notebook lying along the trail,
Like an old essay, I see the derelict pages scattered like leaves,
If you intend to walk with me through this odyssey,
You can find me sitting on a lone blank page,
Waiting to write yet another essay.

Epilogue:

This old essay, I’ll carry throughout my odyssey. And it still continues…

Situation (Last is the past)

A little inspiration to start a conversation,
It seems like a perfect situation,
There’s no condition to start a proposition,
However, it ends in an unexpected hesitation.

I’m trying to fix my tension,
Unfortunately, it has been obscured by a dead connection,
I hope I’ll get an important information,
Once this message reaches the station.

How long it’s gonna take for a remake?
Cos some of the things are fake,
I think you need to have a little shake,
For this situation to make.

Shed a little love,
For the time has come to push a little shove,
I reckon you need some time to read my intuition,
And give your eyes to seek a solution.

Does it matter about the past?
Cos back then we used to put on a different cast,
Everything moved so fast,
Until we meet again, this is the last.

Come again for the situation to rain,
We’ve released all our pain,
So come out of the drain,
And take a different lane.

The last is the past…

Beautiful Day

Coming out of the mirror,
I can see things clearer,
For yesterday there’s no price to pay,
There’s heaven on earth,
So let’s together get rid of the dirt.

I can still,
Get through my own will,
The time shows a different day,
This is to I say,
A decent price to pay for whatever it may,
Say hey, hey, hey!
I pray for this beautiful day.

You and me an odd together,
Says everyone for one another, forever?
Time, I see a river,
Flows with a quiver.
The moment of sharing grace was evident from our face,
Everything seems to leave without a trace.

Early before the day an unusual story,
Found ourselves in procrastination,
A speechless conversation,
But a smile for the moment to run,
Some things might lead to a different turn,
So let’s face the sun and pretend to have a little fun,
The whole story gets bitter at the end of the day,
I’ll hear you say about this beautiful day.

Whatever, Maybe!

whatever-maybe

Sprouted life, fable green,
Hang on here, dancing queen.
Laughing sunset, fidget look,
Passing time, reading book.

Naked vision, staring up,
Standing still, stench breakup.
Closing curtains, window breeze,
Sitting alone, broken freeze.

Doubts unveiling, look nowhere,
Just walk, a little care.
Healing heart, holding on,
Looking straight, waiting long.

Days passing, day and night,
Searching all over, out of sight.
Vision stealing, blurring face,
Heartbeat running, lightning pace.

The Awakening

…I wrote this poem after a few days coming from Vipassana. I’m writing after a long break. Here it goes:

A senseless motivation unveils from the darkness,
Come to me for a silent talk and sleep forever,
I know it’s gonna be good again, unbelievable but true.
Fortunate to be here again, again I see the light.

I see people they see me, I can see a hope from the unknown
Bitter as a pain but not for long, help is what I see
Just for a few months for you to fade,
Everything is free now, a clear vision.

Here comes my mother, like a child she embraces me
Heaven is her heart, there I belong
Thy, a long endurance of incessant blessing
I go forever with you.

Sitting here for Sunday and an awakening Monday
Nothing to hide from the early morning
A weathered image of the weary eyes
The memory fades away…
